Off to Dallas tomorrow. I've been printing out the directions this morning and organising what we want to take. We'll be at Jim and Kellie's for five days and then back down to Mom and Dad's. I'm really looking forward to seeing J. We've talked every day but often it's been busy when he calls here. Yesterday he caught me on my cellphone in Target. Luckily, we were in the toy department so Toby happily played while I talked.
Nikki went back to Austin yesterday so things are very quiet at Mom and Dad's. Just me, Tobes and Grandma today. I think Toby and I might run into Beaumont and get some stuff for his birthday party at the Party Store then treat ourselves to Starbucks and Krispy Kremes (all drive-thru!) on the way home.
Part of me is looking forward to the five hour drive up to Dallas tomorrow and part of me definitely is not. It all depends on Toby's mood. It could be a nice, peaceful journey or it could be like driving a flaming chariot through Hell. Fingers crossed for the first one.
