... at the bumcrack of dawn on Saturday morning so all blogging will depend on access to Mom and Dad's computer for the next three weeks and then on my level of jetlag for at least a week after that.
We're all well. J is recovering nicely and has been off all week, which has been great. He helped out at Toby's school yesterday which was exhausting for him but it sounds like they had a great time. Toby's teacher was all in a flutter because they had never had a Dad help out before and she even brought in her camera to record the event!
I've been getting ready for our trip and still can't believe that it's less than 48 hours away. Since I'll be seeing my Mom I've had my hair coloured, finger and toenails painted, upper lip waxed, etc, etc. I swear it's worse than a first date. I've also dug out some make-up which hasn't touched my face since morning sickness set in two months ago because I know one of the first things Mom will say is 'Baby, why don't you put a little color on your face.' I've done my shopping and have my duty free list all ready (perfume for Mom, wine for Dad, licorice for Grandma...). Now we just have to find the suitcases and try to cram everything into them.

holy cow...we moma's must all say the same thing..."make up help! who cares if you have a 2 year old. first impressions are the most important!" and she is supposed to treat you to the tips to toes day AFTER you arrive! have a wonderful trip. call if you need me...
