Marie Antoinette

Saw the film today and really enjoyed it. I think you'll either love or hate it and I loved the fun and frivolity of it. So beautiful and so little dialogue. The story is told mostly in facial expressions and images. Beautiful, beautiful clothes and shoes and pastries and an interesting combination of period and contemporary details (loved the pair of lavender Converse in Marie Antoinette's wardrobe). Like a Laduree macaroon it was gorgeous, sweet, delicious and surprisingly fulfilling.
