We're looking at two more houses today. They're on the same road and the really interesting thing is that one of them is the house we tried to buy last year. Yep, they still haven't sold it AND they've marked it way down. Interesting.
J and I both wrote that house off when it all fell to pot last year but after seeing the house yesterday I started thinking about it again. The house on Manor Lane was so lovely but it just didn't give me that special feeling. I had that special feeling last year so we've decided to see if the magic is still there. We've learned that the house is now empty so it will be good to see it without any furniture or anything.
This is the house we tried to buy and will see again today.
This is the other house which is on the same road. I had been looking at this one online and thought we might as well see it as a comparison.
Next time I'm thinking something like this though I think Jason might prefer this.

(All different views of the same house!)
It's amazing how something so expensive can be so hideous. The kids would have fun sliding on all that marble though!
My god, it would be like living in a hotel! The bowling alley does look fun though.
ok, one thing I like about the "jason" house is the bookcase in the living room. I've always wanted a bookcase that required a ladder to reach the top shelves!
I'm with Nikki on ladder envy! and Ooooooh Cator Estate!
